Project summary:  

I completed my masters in seed pathology developing a magnetic capture hybridization and real time PCR multiplex detection assay for the simultaneous detection of seedborne bacteria and viruses. I am currently studying the host pathogen interactions between Acidovorax avenae subsp. citulli and its host plant, watermelon.

Fun Facts about Athens:

It’s a quiet town but very diverse and I like that very much.
