Minor and Area of Emphasis

A Minor in Plant Pathology documents specialized knowledge in plant pathology and disease management, giving graduates an edge in plant- or crop-related careers in biotechnology, plant protection, and seed companies; nurseries and garden centers; golf courses and public parks; state and federal agencies and universities; and private agronomic or horticultural consulting firms. The Minor also provides an excellent preparation for graduate school in majors such as plant biology, crop science, microbiology, or plant pathology.
