Research Interests and Current Efforts

My research program is focused on developing sustainable and integrated disease management strategies for pecans and peanuts. We focus on combining cultural practices, chemical and biological control methods, and host resistance to manage pecan diseases and soilborne pathogens affecting peanuts. To enhance the effectiveness of these approaches, we also investigate the biology and epidemiology of key pathogens. Our ultimate goal is to provide stakeholders and the scientific community with practical, science-based solutions that support profitable and environmentally friendly peanut and pecan production.
